Frændafundir
Frændafundur is the name of research collaboration between the University of the Faroe Islands and the University of Iceland, which was formalized in an official agreement in 1990. Every third year an interdisciplinary conference is organized within the framework of the collaboration, the countries host in turns and publish a book after each conference. A committee in each country coordinates the collaboration.
The members of the Icelandic committee are: Ingi Sigurðsson (Chair), Dagný Kristjánsdóttir, Magnús Snædal, Auður Hauksdóttir, Hjalti Hugason and María Garðarsdóttir.
The members of the Faroese committee are: Turið Sigurðardóttir (Chair), Anfinnur Johansen, Malan Marnersdóttir, Jonhard Mikkelsen, Lena Reinert and Jóhan Hendrik W. Poulsen.
