January 27. Scientific Symposium in infectious Diseases and Immunology in the Faroe Islands. Honorary symposium for Dr Jón á Steig, former chief physician, pulmonologist, allergologist, and tuberculosis expert, Medical Department, National Hospital, the Faroe Islands. My presentation was called: "New research possibilities in the Faroe Islands within molecular health research".

May 21. Public meeting on the future of the University of the Faroe Islands, the Nordic House. Meeting was recorded and sent in the Faroese radio May 22.

- "On Genomes and Genes"

- "Genome Investigations. Not Always Good, and Certainly Not Always Simple".
